A TOTAL of 16 graduates from Cebu-based schools have secured spots in the top 10 of the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers at the Secondary Level, with a graduate from Cebu Normal University claiming the top position.The Professional Regulation Commission announced the results on Friday, December 13, 2024, saying that out of the 85,926 who took the exam, 48,875 passed, resulting in a national passing rate of 56.88 percent.
40 percent, alongside Alma Ybañez Maglasang of CNU and Nathaniel Cenas Niar from the University of San Carlos.Christine Pearl Flores Abarques of the University of San Jose-Recoletos earned seventh place with a rating of 93.20 percent, while Maria Margarita Ampong Mantilla of the University of the Philippines Cebu took eighth place with 93 percent.A total of six graduates from CNU tied for ninth place, each with a rating of 92.80 percent.
