Team has raised $100K to support the Sault Area Hospital Foundation
Through a decade of charity golf tournaments, Sault Ste. Marie’s Team Jacobs has fulfilled its $100,000 pledge to support the Sault Area Hospital Foundation and the hospital’s the Women and Children’s Health department.
“We’re proud of the partnership we’ve established with the Sault Area Hospital Foundation throughout the years,” said Brad Jacobs in a news release. “Having toured the department and experienced the services first-hand when my own children were born here, we understand the impact of our donations.”Team Jacobs has a long history of supporting local healthcare.
Over the past decade, funds from the annual tournament have helped purchase vital pieces of equipment for our littlest patients, including an Infant Flow SiPAP System which provides respiratory support for infants, specialized birthing beds to assist with labour and delivery, and a Bili Blanket System for premature babies to name a few.
As the presenting sponsor of this year’s tournament, and a partner throughout the last ten years, Prouse Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac also believes in supporting local healthcare. “We are pleased to work with Team Jacobs and support the Sault Area Hospital Foundation,” said Kerry McMillian, partner Prouse Motors. “Our employees, our customers and their families all use the services at the hospital, so this is a great way to give back and support the Foundation.
