China and Laos have signed a joint statement aimed at elevating bilateral cooperation, focusing on the ambitious development of a connectivity development corridor between the two countries and Thailand.
SEREMBAN : A 10-year-old girl sustained injuries to her leg after she was attacked by a monkey in the compound of her house in Taman Warisan Puteri near here, Malay language daily Sinar Harian reports.
The incident happened around 4.20pm on Sunday when the victim Nur Keisha Marissa Mohd Irfan was helping her mother Nurul Farahana Zaini, 35, hang out the laundry. Nurul Farahana said her two other children, aged five and two years old, were also present when the incident happened."Marissa tried to protect her younger siblings from being harmed by the wild animal but ended up being bitten on her left leg," she told Sinar Harian.Nurul Farahana said she rushed her daughter to the Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital for treatment as her injuries looked serious.
