Ia dijalankan oleh jurulatih Kuala Lumpur, Lim Yew Fai, Yang Yong Yao, See Min dan jurulatih Pulau Pinang, Yap Wai Kin dan tujuan penyertaan itu adalah untuk memilih dan membangunkan atlet negeri sebagai persiapan menghadapi Sukan Malaysia (Sukma) 2024.
Kursus lima hari itu dianjurkan oleh Persekutuan Wushu Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur untuk menyediakan pelan latihan yang menyeluruh untuk atlet-atlet dan pelatih juga menerima bimbingan daripada kakitangan kejurulatihan untuk meningkatkan lagi kemahiran mereka secara keseluruhan.
